Through its Renewal Cares program, Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia was proud to partner with FOX Richmond to support FOX Holiday Socks, a community initiative that provides essential items and holiday cheer to individuals and families in need across Central Virginia.
FOX Holiday Socks brings together local businesses, volunteers, and community members to collect and distribute stockings filled with necessities and comfort items during the holiday season. Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia was honored to support the program at every stage, helping ensure its success and expanded impact in 2025.

How Our Team Helped
Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia team members volunteered throughout the entire FOX Holiday Socks process, contributing both time and donations. Team involvement included:
- Preparing thousands of stockings to be filled with donated items
- Donating essential items to help fill the stockings
- Assisting with assembling and sorting the completed stockings
- Volunteering during distribution to help ensure donations reached those in need
This hands-on approach allowed team members to directly support neighbors and families during a critical time of year.

Exceeding the Need and Expanding Our Impact
Thanks to the generosity of the community and the dedication of volunteers, FOX Holiday Socks exceeded the need in 2025, resulting in the distribution of more than 5,000 filled stockings. Even more meaningful, the program received enough additional donations to support other initiatives within The Salvation Army.
Leftover items—including coloring books, stocking caps, gloves, and warm socks—were shared with other Salvation Army programs, extending the reach of the effort and ensuring no donations went unused.
