At Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia, giving back to the communities we serve is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re excited to announce our sponsorship of the third-annual Chesterfield Restaurant Week, happening April 3–12, 2026. This beloved local event celebrates the vibrant food scene in Chesterfield County while supporting an incredible cause that helps families and individuals in need throughout our region.
Celebrating Local Restaurants and Community Connections
Chesterfield Restaurant Week shines a spotlight on locally owned and operated restaurants, encouraging residents to try new flavors, revisit favorite spots, and support the small businesses that make our community unique. During the 10-day event, participating restaurants offer special menu options, making it a delicious time to support local Chesterfield businesses.
For us, sponsoring Chesterfield Restaurant Week is about more than great food. It’s about strengthening local connections and investing in the neighbors we serve every day.

Supporting Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center
Proceeds from Chesterfield Restaurant Week directly benefit the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center (CFBOC), a vital nonprofit organization serving Chesterfield County and beyond. CFBOC provides food assistance and essential support through a wide range of programs, including:
- Mobile food pantries that bring groceries directly to underserved neighborhoods
- School pantries that help ensure children have access to nutritious food
- Motel and homeless outreach programs supporting individuals and families facing housing instability
- Partnerships with other nonprofit organizations serving those experiencing food insecurity
Together, these initiatives help meet immediate needs while creating pathways to longer-term stability for individuals and families throughout the region.

Our Team Gives Back Through Hands-On Volunteering
Our support of Chesterfield Restaurant Week goes beyond sponsorship. Members of the Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia team recently volunteered at the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center, rolling up their sleeves to make a direct impact.
During our volunteer shift, team members helped inspect donated meat to ensure quality and safety, then package it for distribution through CFBOC’s Food on the Move program. This drive‑through food distribution allows individuals and families to receive weekly grocery supplies in a safe, accessible, and dignified way.
Volunteer efforts like these are crucial to Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center’s operation.
“We distribute over 2.7 million pounds of food each year,” shared Kelly Kaze, Development Director at Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center. “We operate with over 60,000 volunteer hours every single year, so we really can’t do this without people coming in and volunteering.”

Food on the Move: Addressing Hunger with Dignity
Food on the Move is one of the many innovative programs CFBOC uses to fight food insecurity. By offering pre-packed groceries through a drive‑through model, the program helps reduce barriers such as transportation challenges, mobility limitations, and long wait times.
We’re proud that our volunteer efforts directly supported Food on the Move and helped ensure families across the community have reliable access to nutritious food.

Renewal Cares: A Continued Commitment to Our Community
Our support of Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center is part of our broader Renewal Cares commitment—an ongoing effort to give back to the communities where we live and work. In recent months, our team has also volunteered with local schools, supported community outreach efforts with the Salvation Army, and partnered with Feed More to help address hunger across Central Virginia.
Through Renewal Cares, we focus on hands-on service, meaningful partnerships, and opportunities that allow our team members to make a positive difference beyond the job site. Supporting Chesterfield Restaurant Week and CFBOC is a natural extension of these efforts.
