Empowering team members to support local nonprofits across Central Virginia through Renewal Cares.
Through Renewal Cares, Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia is committed to giving back to the communities we serve in meaningful and personal ways. As part of that commitment, we are excited to announce that the 2026 Renewal Cares Check Program is officially open for employee submissions.
From now through Thursday, February 26, eligible team members are invited to select a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves the Central Virginia area. Each selected organization will receive a donation through the program—directly chosen by the employees who live and work in the communities they support.

In 2026, Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia—serving Richmond, Chesterfield, Charlottesville, and surrounding Central Virginia communities—will donate a total of $24,284 through the Renewal Cares Check Program.
The Check Program, originally launched in 2019 by Richmond Window Corp., is a unique annual initiative that allows eligible employees to directly impact their communities. Each year, CEO Page Ewell III calculates a donation total for each store based on the number of units sold. That total is then divided evenly among eligible employees, who each choose a local nonprofit to receive their portion of the donation.
The Renewal Cares Check Program reflects our belief that the people closest to the community often know best where support is needed most. We look forward to seeing the incredible organizations our Central Virginia team members choose to support this year—and the positive impact those donations will make throughout the region.
